NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY

Pursuant to R.C. 2981.11, notice is hereby given that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has in its custody unclaimed personal property recovered during the execution of a search warrant in 2019 at 885 #12 Hollow Road, Wellston, OH 45692, including but not limited to the following categories:

Bicycles (multiple, various brands/sizes)
Lawn & garden / outdoor power equipment (mowers, power washers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, cultivators, pole saws, hedge trimmers)
Power and hand tools (nail guns, drills, saws, air compressors, sanders, sockets/wrenches)
Small kitchen appliances (coffee makers, espresso machines, air fryers, microwaves, blenders, rice cookers)
Furniture (dressers, bed frames, cabinets, tables, chairs, mattresses)
Plumbing fixtures (faucets, toilets, sinks, vanities, shower/tub fixtures)
Lighting, ceiling fans, and electrical fixtures
Door hardware (lock sets, doorknobs, entry sets)
Household electronics (televisions, printers, DVD players, computer equipment)
Automotive parts and accessories (struts, rotors, axle assemblies, tires, mirrors, radiators)
Space heaters and HVAC accessories
Outdoor/recreational items (scooters, drones, umbrellas, gazebo)
General household goods (rugs, curtains, storage cabinets, miscellaneous hardware)

Any person claiming a right to possession of this property must contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 740-286-6464 or 350 Portsmouth Street, Jackson, OH 45640 on or before 4 p.m. on September 21, 2026. The items will be available for inspection in the green building near the entrance to the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Wellston, Ohio, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026. All claims must include reasonable proof of ownership.

Property not claimed by the above deadline will be disposed of pursuant to R.C. 2981.12, by order of the Jackson County Court of Common Pleas, which may include sale at public auction.
